Standing beside the stream is Les Chenes, a lovely colombage cottage typical of the region. It has a private garden with an attractive old fashioned well, and a terrace overlooking the stream. The terrace has garden chairs, a table and a barbeque.

The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, the master bedroom has double doors opening onto the garden and stream behind the house. The second bedroom, a twin, overlooks the garden with the lake beyond. Downstairs, the sitting room has an open fireplace with logs provided, and there are double doors opening to the garden and terrace. The attractive kitchen has a dishwasher and microwave. The bathroom has a bath with shower and screen, the lavatory is separate. Both are downstairs.

Note: This cottage is a neighbour to Les Bambus (below). Both are set away from the other cottages with large gardens going down to the stream. Whilst individually private, their proximity may suit two families wishing to holiday together*.

Les Bambus is newly converted within the lovely yellow stone building overlooking the lake. It has aprivate garden leading down to the stream, and a balcony overlooking the lake. The garden has sun chairs, table and chairs and a barbecue.

The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, the master bedroom has a double bed and en suite shower room. It has doors opening onto the garden. The second bedroom , a twin, also overlooks the gardens and has a bathroom beside it. The house sleeps five if required, as the light and spacious open plan landing area has a single bed. There is a large open plan living area with comfortable seating, a farmhouse table and kitchen which has a dishwasher and microwave (see picture bottom right). A door at the end of the living room opens out onto the balcony and lake.

Les Epiceas (The Pines) - Sleeps 2/4

A comfortable cottage ideal for a couple wanting plenty of space. It has a private terrace and barbecue, and is part of an old cider barn which has been beautifully converted. The bedroom has a spacious en suite shower room with views over the lake. The sitting room is comfortably furnished (including a double sofa bed), with a studio style kitchen with microwave, breakfast bar and dining area. A French door at the end of the sitting room opens out onto the terrace, which has views across the pool and the grounds beyond.

Our largest cottage is split over three levels, offering generous accommodation and is ideal for a family gathering.

There are 2 double rooms, one with ensuite shower room and 3 twin rooms. The upper level has three bedrooms (including en suite) plus a further shower room. The mid level has a very spacious sitting room with plenty of comfortable chairs, also a good sized kitchen (with microwave and dishwasher) and breakfast bar. There is also a large dining table which comfortably accommodates a crowd. There are several windows, some overlooking the pine trees and some the grounds and lake, as well as a French door which looks over the pool terrace. The lower level has a double room, a twin room and a bathroom. It has a small kitchen in addition to the main one above, and has its own sitting room (including a double sofa bed) with doors opening onto a private terrace overlooking the lake and grounds with a barbecue, garden table and chairs.
